The Oldest tree

A short adventure here from the most populated city in Scotland to the oldest tree in the UK, it’s only 5000 years old. A beautiful ride that had its nice moments but sure as hell had its challenges, The steep terrain the hike a bike. But as it a fairly short route, it is a great adventure for a little mini adventure. Spend a night or two on the trails and get a little taste of Scotland.

If you can time it to get to the highest point just as the sun is setting, and you are brave enough to sleep in what will probably be on the colder side, you will get some incredible views. It was one of my best nights under the stars in a very long time.

It’s definitely suited more for an MTB, but it’s quite short, so you will be able to get through it on a gravel bike with not too many issues.
