The Bear Bones Bash

The Bear Bones Bash for me is one of them adventures you go on and end up loving it, but I can’t quite remember exactly why I loved it so much. Was it the sunshine. Possibly. Was it the trails, I think so. But there were some unrideable and hike a bike sections. I am not really sure what exactly it was, but every time I remind myself of this adventure, I just smile and remember I really enjoyed it. I remember feeling great on the bike, floating through the single track and just feeling completely in the moment. Ahh, maybe that’s what it was, I was just in the moment with nothing else to think about. I think that is it, that’s why I loved this adventure so much.

I can’t say it doesn’t have its hard parts, but I just think this route flowed nicely for me (hopefully it will for you too if you take it on) I think a MTB would be better but a lot of the unrideable parts for me would be unrideable on any bike so you might manage on a gravel bike if you have good bike handling skills, but if you have a MTB I’d take that instead.
