The New Forest Gravel

There isnโ€™t too much to say on this one its the New Forest and lots of maintained gravel paths with one bridal way that does sometimes get a bit muddy and over grown, but its not too long. Its a perfect beginner bikepacking route as its pretty flat, there are a couple short climbs. They donโ€™t even register to me as climbs, but if you are still new to cycling you might find them a little tiring. But with the right gearing you should be fine.

This is very slightly different to the route you can find on bikepacking.com as it removes the boggy trail out towards Rodger penny way which is a kind of busy road. It doesnโ€™t cut anything worthwhile out though and doesnโ€™t shorten the route by much. Itโ€™s a short route, and the route I cycled for 24 hours straight. About 60 miles, so good for either a day ride or a little over nighter
