Bicester to wales through the Cotswolds

This was a bit of a spontaneous trip to get to wales, from the town a grew up in to Newport south wales, this route is packed with beauty of the Cotswolds, but it gets incredibly wet in the off season, childhood memories of hosing myself off before allowed in the house flooding back to me. It’s not a really hard ride, it’s fairly short at 130 miles, but it can be quite tiring with rutty trails and cycling across slow grassy fields. A lot more fun to ride in the Cotswolds around the summer when everything is dry. It is mostly traffic free this route, but you do go on a few quiet country lanes here and there. Take a small tent for this one and have a little overnight adventure to wales.
