Evidict 10L trail running bikepacking vest

evidict 10 l Trail running vest

A running vest for bike packing OMG and yes they work great if you need to carry a few extra little bits or want to use a bladder on them hotter days. The Evidict 10 l trail running vest is super lightweight basically can’t even feel it, feels like wearing a t shirt or something, i’ve used this on and off now for a couple of years, it’s mostly reserved for the really hot adventures where I might want to carry extra water of the fast-paced adventures where I can make use of the extra pockets for snacks.

It doesn’t get too much use as of now, as the channel has grown I have been adding more and more camera gear to try to make the videos better and this just doesn’t fit the tripod I currently carry. But this vest is great if you find your jersey pockets full of the numerous pockets around the straps you will be able to make great use of these, and because it is so light it really doesn’t feel like you are wearing a bag on your back. These bags do sit quite high on the back, so do take a bit of getting used to. The fabric on the back is stretchy so it holds what ever you have in the main pocket in place however because it is stretchy it means it’s not partially tear resistant, and I have snagged this bag a couple of times coming through the thorn riddled trails that has left a couple little holes. The bag isn’t overly expensive either £35 and that includes the bladder. It not that expensive because its not marketed at cyclists but runners, there is a top tip for you if you want to save a bit of cash trail running and running stuff is often much cheaper than cycling specific clothing and bags, and guess what they are often just as good if not better.

The only slight annoying thing about these bags is that because they are designed with running in mind they need to sit as still as possible, to achieve that you have to have lots of straps so when you want to get to the big pocket at the back which is just 1 big stretchy pocket with one little zip pocket you have to undo all them straps, I’m just being a bit picky though.

This is the best bag for cycling in, no one likes to wear a bag cycling but sometimes needs must and I would rather wear a bag like this than a normal cycling backpack.
