The Gower, Wales

This might be the only Welsh bikepacking route I ever put in the beginner section, but The Gower is an incredibly beautiful place to discover by bike, it feels like a different world compared to the rest of wales. It's less rugged but equally beautiful in its own right. This route is also really short at 50 miles, Could easily be done in a day or make it a little overnighter. As long as you have good breaks (it still wales, after all) as there are a couple steep descents and climbs, but they are all fairly short. Riding around the Gower on the gravel bike is just perfect if you can get the sun.

The trails are all fairly easy to ride, it does have a fair amount of paved quiet road sections and some off-road sections which are pretty simple and mellow to ride, apart from some of the descents, a couple are quite steep. Fine to ride, just make sure your brakes are working well. And a little hike a bike through some sand dunes.
